A Quirky Log Grotto

Last year Sarah gave me a drift wood log. It has taken me since then to work out what to do with it. I think that it was worth the wait! Thanks Sarah.
There is a 12″ rule in fron y of ti to give some scale. The log was cleaned, stabilised and had several coats of laquer. Although you can not it in the photo, I have added a subtle green sheen to the inside of the grotto below the lights. Then I added a small strip of LED lights and some tiny, tiny mushrooms!
All in all it was pretty finicky to make but I am pleased with the result.
