A New Cedar Bowl.

Last week Roni paid me a visit. She brought up a load of wood blanks for me to turn. Since my stroke I have been unable to drive the 200 miles to her and so I had run out of wood.
The first bowl I turned was this cedar bowl. I really like it. It is reassuringly chunky and, because itis made of cedar it smells wonderful!

It still needs finishing and polishing but I think that it will look pretty good when it is complete. The wide rim works really well with the bark. It has been so long since I turned anything so I was a bit concerned but it worked out.
